Help Me Make Tails Wag for SPCA Monterey County’s Day of Giving!
Hi friends and family! I have some "paws-itively" exciting news! I’m joining my amazing coworkers and volunteers for A Day of Giving, and I’m on a mission to help end pet homelessness right here in our community.
As many of you know, animals are my entire life! I’ve spent nearly 10 of the last 13 years dedicated to the SPCA Monterey County. From rescuing wildlife and finding forever homes for exotic pets to responding to oil spills and fires, I’ve seen firsthand how much your support matters.
My heart is especially close to our Ruff Start program, where I work with inmates at Salinas Valley State Prison to give shelter dogs a second chance through specialized training and lots of one-on-one love. (And yes, I’ve "walked the walk" and adopted many of my own fur-babies from the SPCA, too! )
Will you help me reach my goal for the animals?
